I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jimmy, the owner of Latimer Plastering, for over 15 years. I began my career as a laborer at his company doing exterior work, and today I have the opportunity to work with him again—this time as a builder who proudly employs Latimer Plastering. Jimmy and his team consistently deliver some of the best exterior craftsmanship in the Utah Valley. Much of my own industry knowledge can be credited to the time I spent under his leadership early in my career. It’s no surprise that he’s still a respected name in the industry all these years later, and it was a pleasant and meaningful full-circle moment to find ourselves working together again in different roles. The projects we’re currently collaborating on are complex and detail-driven, with little margin for error—but Jimmy’s team continues to rise to the challenge. Their ability to meet and exceed both craftsmanship standards and project timelines has been nothing short of impressive.
